Makati ranks 4th in health care globally

Makati City has emerged as fourth in global health care ranking among cities in the world, based on the latest Numbeo Health Care Index for the first quarter of 2025.
Makati is the only city in the Philippines to make it to the list with a health care index score of 85.0 out of 100, outperforming cities from Europe and North America, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay announced on Tuesday, April 29.
According to RankingRoyals, a data analysis platform, Kaohsiung, Taiwan leads the list with a health care index score of 88.6, followed by Taipei, Taiwan (86.7), and Chiang Mai, Thailand (85.0).
