Aligned with the Marcos administration's push to help Filipino families cope with rising costs, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is marking the 124th Labor Day celebration by providing immediate and long-term support to workers and households.

Livelihood, jobs delivered for income support where workers, families need them most

These efforts aim to help families cope with rising expenses and other challenges that make it harder to meet daily needs. As of April 30, a total of 11,630 beneficiaries are gaining livelihood aid under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) worth P274.8 million, while over 115,000 individuals are earning wages through emergency employment under Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) program, amounting to more than P815 million.
