FFCCCII, Filipino-Chinese foundation extend ₱11-M aid to Mindanao quake victims

The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) and the Filipino at Tsino Magkaibigan Foundation have provided ₱11 million in relief and rehabilitation assistance to victims of the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Mindanao on June 8.
During a press conference on Friday, June 19, FFCCCII President Victor Lim said relief assistance was immediately provided, particularly in General Santos City.
“Our local chamber coordinated with the Department of Social Welfare and Development and local authorities to assess the extent of the damage and determine the needs of affected communities,” Lim said.
Leaders of the FFCCCII and the Filipino at Tsino Magkaibigan Foundation immediately approved ₱6 million for emergency relief operations.
