Envoy tells Chinese investors: PH is open for business

Philippine Ambassador to China Jaime FlorCruz has urged Chinese businessmen to invest in the Philippines, emphasizing that the country is "open for business" and citing its strength in tourism, hospitality, wellness services, and education.
"We are open for business and we welcome China, our largest trading partner, to partner with us in high-growth services and industries," the ambassador said during the Philippine country forum and opening of the Philippines pavilion at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing on Sept. 11.
The embassy shared how the Philippines has sustained its momentum as a premier investment hub for Chinese investors during the CIFTIS and the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen.
During back-to-back international trade fairs, the envoy enticed Chinese investors, innovators, and entrepreneurs to choose the Philippines as an ideal destination for future ventures.
