Delivery rider yields ₱1.2-M shabu in Manila

A 25-year-old delivery rider and alleged member of a notorious gang was arrested for delivering ₱1,224,000 worth of shabu using a famous service delivery app during a buy-bust operation in Sta. Cruz, Manila, authorities said on Thursday, Aug. 14.
The Manila Police District (MPD) identified the suspect as “Jaron,” who was tagged as a high-value individual (HVI). He was arrested by the MPD District Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) in Barangay 343 on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
