Bullet Dematera unveils 'The Unspoken Wilderness'
Contemporary surrealist Bullet Dematera, known for his ability to weave intricate narratives with lush textures and dreamlike compositions, takes viewers into a world where boundaries between inner and outer landscapes elegantly dissolve in "The Unspoken Wilderness."
“The wilderness is not just the forest or the wave,” Bullet explains. “But the silent chaos and resilience embedded in all of us. It is where longing, beauty, and survival coexist.”
Running until June 30, 2025, at Art Lounge Manila, the exhibit explores human emotion, memory, and ecological symbolism. Within these canvases, tigers roar through subconscious fears, and vibrant flora emerge from the fragments of identity. Bullet masterfully layers graphite, acrylic, and oil to craft scenes that feel both universally relatable and intensely personal.
