For the longest time, Filipinos have relied on imported fragrances to satisfy their olfactory needs due to the limited availability of local perfume brands. Several visionaries, however, are now changing this narrative by launching their brands in the hopes of putting the Philippines on the global perfume map. One such fragrance enthusiast is John Greg Parilla.

Hailing from the province of Rizal, Greg's journey into the world of fragrance began with a simple compliment. His colleagues' positive comments about his scent sparked an interest that quickly blossomed into a full-blown passion. Today, he is not only a content creator with a vast following but also the founder of the clothing brand Habit and the co-founder of GP Fragrances, which crafts scents that tell stories and celebrate Filipino identity.

The birth of GP Fragrances
