12,000 CL cops, volunteers to secure 'Undas'

The Police Regional Office in Central Luzon (PRO-3) will deploy over 12,000 law enforcement personnel and force multipliers across the region to ensure a peaceful observance of All Saints' and All Souls' Days on Nov. 1 and 2 as part of the nationwide security initiative “Ligtas Undas 2025.”

In a statement Tuesday, PRO-3 director Police Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. said around 3,000 police officers will be assigned to cemeteries, memorial parks, churches, transport terminals, and tourist spots from Oct. 29 to Nov. 5.
