Whatever your description of a player justifying their City exit, there isn't a huge pool of players to pick from. The early signs suggest that Kyle Walker will join the much longer list of players who quickly realise the grass is not always greener away from the Etihad.

Walker was forced out of the first-team picture this season through a mixture of injury, form and fitness concerns on his part, and the good form of others. The club captain was unhappy at not being the main man he once was and asked to leave in January in a bombshell transfer request.
