Nearly £5m decrease in United sponsorship revenue

MANCHESTER
United have confirmed a decrease in sponsorship revenue in their first quarter financial results.The sponsorship revenue was £47million, which is a decrease of £4.8 million over the prior year.
That means sponsorship revenue has dropped by 9.3 per cent due to changes with the club's sponsorship agreements, following the expiration of the training kit deal with Tezos.
The Manchester Evening News revealed in the summer that the deal with Tezos was set to expire.
