CITY'S players have returned to the City Football Academy, beginning a three-week preseason ahead of the start of the Premier League campaign.

The squad was given four weeks off after their surprise last-16 exit to Al Hilal at the Club World Cup.

Now they will seek to return to peak fitness in time for the trip to Molineux on Saturday, August 16, for their opening weekend clash with Wolves.

It's already been a busy summer for Pep Guardiola and his squad, and although this is a shortened preseason, there is still plenty to do in the next three weeks.
