Guardiola to make last minute call on keeper selection

PEP Guardiola said he would decide last night who will start in goal for Manchester City against Tottenham after seeing Ederson recover from his illness.

The Brazilian was kept out of the Premier League opener at Wolves with an untimely bout of gastroenteritis but has trained all week and is available for selection again.

That does not mean he will start though. Where Guardiola was happy to name him as the No.1 for Wolves before his injury, James Trafford's performance at Molineux was impressive and leaves him in contention to keep his place.
