WINGER IN THE BEST FORM OF CITY CAREER
WHAT a difference a couple of weeks makes for Jeremy Doku.
A fortnight ago he had danced a merry dance around Kazakhstan but was still struggling to find the consistency in the Premier League to show why Belgian observers were so thrilled by his potential.
Doku admitted during the September international break that he hadn't hit the standards he wanted this season, but things have clicked in spectacular fashion since. In the space of 14 days, he has become undroppable for club as well as country.
He was named man of the match inside the Etihad against Burnley after another star turn, although he might have faced more competition for that award had it been announced after Erling Haaland's late double.
That took Haaland to eight goals in six Premier League games this season and the Norwegian has been brilliant, but his cause is being helped by the return to form of City's other attackers.
