Band going home for huge park concert

TWO members of a popular Manchester band have shared a special personal connection to their upcoming show supporting The Cure next summer.
-
Brothers Aaron and Kurtis Starkie, from Wythenshawe, have been a part of The Slow Readers Club since its formation in 2009.
Alongside James Ryan and David Whitworth, the band have released seven albums to date.
Three of their albums have reached the top 20 in the UK album's chart, with their most recent effort, Out of a Dream, released earlier this year, just narrowly missing out on the top ten after charting at number 11.
