"I am not sure if any other event has been bigger than this but it is definitely a record turn-out for Cheshire.
"I would like to give thanks to Fiona Woolley and Ewa Papis who were on the registration desk all day as well as four Cheshire referees and members from the club, three starters and Jerry Dixon, Bob Hamilton and Jean Payne from Cheshire Golf when needed and also great support from the pro shop, caterers and staff who were there from 7am to welcome the early starters.
"There were various categories played for and the winning teams go forward to the English finals at the winning individuals go forward to the finals at Stoke Rochford GC and the u16's to Wilmslow GC on May 19th."
