Handbags seized in police raids

FIVE people have been arrested and watches and handbags seized following police raids linked to alleged burglaries in Macclesfield.

More than 30 officers were involved in the operation on Wednesday, July 2, that came in connection with a series of at least 20 high value burglaries between October 2024 and March 2025.
It is alleged these took place across the UK a number were in Macclesfield, Prestbury and Disley as well as other areas of Cheshire.
Police raided four addresses in Walsall, Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham leading to the arrests.
