Best from Burns in 3rds win

MACCLESFIELD 3rd XI won the toss and asked visitors Hawk Green to bat first.

Hawk Green lost Hallas and Kingsman early with Suneesh Muraleedharan and Bruno Smith-Lomas the wicket takers.

Despite the early loses, decent innings from Foster and Hill meant that with the best part of 30 overs left, the visitors were at a relatively healthy 54-2.

At that point though the wheels came off and once Foster was gone for 46, bowled by Stephen Whittingham, and Hill for 13, bowled by Lucas Burns, only one other batsman got to double figures. Hawk Green were all out for 99 in the 30th over.
