Kerry Katona and Katie Price on their panto roles

- DIANNE BOURNE

Ugly sisters? No way, we're...WICKED

KERRY Katona and Katie Price are in a fit of giggles comparing their matching flamboyant neon dresses and fur trimmed coats as they prepare for their new roles together - in panto as the Wicked Step-sisters of Cinderella.

“We both take the p*** out of each other...and ourselves,” they both add in unison leading them to collapse in cackles again.

The old friends, and tabloid regulars, who first worked together on I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here back in 2004, are teaming up for the first time in panto, at Northwich’s Memorial Court this Christmas. And news of their star billing has sent ripples around Cheshire already.

Theatre company AB Productions has announced record ticket sales since news of the pairing broke on Thursday night with audiences clearly loving the thought of the two TV favourites on stage together. And having sat with the two jovial stars for an hour this week, I can safely say audiences are in for quite a show.
