Salford hold on to beat lowly Broncos despite red card

SALFORD Red Devils defeated London Broncos 12-4 at Cherry Red Records Stadium despite having King Vuniyayawa sent off midway through the second half.

Vuniyayawa was shown a red card in the 55th minute for his tackle on Marcus Stock but the 12-man Red Devils, who were leading 12-4 at the time thanks to tries from Kallum Watkins and Deon Cross, held on for their fifth win of the season.

London, meanwhile, remain bottom of the table and without a point this campaign after falling short in an improved performance.

Salford had the momentum early on and should have taken the lead during that spell.
