CITY showed they are ready to challenge for titles again with their performance in Switzerland this week, Pep Guardiola believes.
The Blues were a little wasteful at Young Boys and were pegged back after going ahead in their Champions League group game, but responded with an Erling Haaland brace to continue their 100 per cent record in Europe as they stand one game from qualifying for the knockout stages.
While City were far from their best Guardiola was full of praise for his side after the game and said the performance pleased him as much as wins over Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan. Those were key victories as the Blues won the Champions League for the first time last season.
