The goalkeeper joined Crystal Palace in a deal worth £20m plus add-ons earlier this week, calling time on a 12-year spell with his boyhood club. He has signed a fiveyear contract that will keep him at Selhurst Park until 2028.

Having spent last season on-loan at Nottingham Forest, the 26-year-old had originally expected to return to the City Ground permanently. However, with Steve Cooper's side signing Matt Turner and United short in the goalkeeping department, there were murmurs he could have stayed at Old Trafford.
