SALFORD Red Devils have finally received the news they were waiting for, with Salford council confirming the acquisition of the club's stadium.
Authorities have confirmed that the deal has now been finalised, which will see the council become the sole shareholders of the facility, a move that the Super League club believe will offer a seismic boost to their long-term future.
Salford are currently under increased special measures imposed by the Rugby Football League after they received a £500,000 advance in central funding due to worries over their immediate future.
