Delightful deli moves into Island

Popular food hall venue to welcome new eateries for spring and summer

THE owners of one of Greater Manchester's most popular pasta spots has announced they are opening a second site - inside a beloved food hall.

First opened in 2022, Ornella's Kitchen in Denton has won numerous awards and national acclaim for its dishes, which are made with traditional Italian and Mediterranean ingredients.

It has previously been described as a 'love letter' to Italy.

Based on meals made by owner Ornella Carncila's family in Sicily's north coast, the Manchester Road pasta deli's menu includes the likes of lobster ravioli and lamb shoulder, alongside brunch dishes, ciabatta sandwiches, and small plates.

Last week, Ornella and her partner Jamie teased the arrival of a second site - which has been named Ornella's Little Kitchen.
