Teenager proud of father who barricaded synagogue doors

A DAD who barricaded the doors of a synagogue targeted by a terrorist to stop him getting inside is 'a complete hero who saved so many lives, his son has said.

Father-of-three Yoni Finlay is thought to be one of two people accidentally shot by armed police as they fatally subdued terrorist Jihad Al-Shamie outside Heaton Park synagogue on Yom Kippur on Thursday.

He was inside at the time Al-Shamie drove into crowds outside then launched a knife attack.

Two men died and others were injured in the attack.
