Child sexual abuse discussion at event

Sat in a meeting room at Channel 4's headquarters in Leeds city centre, Emily Victoria explains to the Northern Agenda podcast why she agreed to confront head-on the years of sexual abuse she suffered at her father's hands - and let a TV camera crew document the whole thing.

It's a harrowing and extraordinary programme where Emily, a businesswoman and single mum, digs into the full horror of what happened to her, speaking to family, friends and even police, as she tries to understand how her abuse went undetected for years.

She was in Leeds for a special event at Channel 4's base to join a powerful discussion hosted by the broadcaster, the NSPCC charity and West Yorkshire Combined Authority, addressing the urgent need to protect children and young people at risk of sexual abuse.
