Qingdao port goes smarter, greener

Qingdao continued to optimize their port layout in the first half of 2025, going more intelligent and greener as marine transport terminals.

The efforts are part of a drive to build Qingdao into modern marine city, as outlined in China's 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025).
Qingdao Port in east China's Shandong Province has built the country's first intelligent port featuring both hydrogen power and 5G technology.
