EVERTON Women manager Brian Sorensen hailed the fans who came out to watch his side play Tottenham Hotspur in their inaugural game at Goodison Park since it became their permanent home, but wants his players to put on a better show for the spectators going forwards.

Sorensen's side failed to register a shot on target in the 2-0 defeat and the Dane said: “I think the club has done a magnificent job. It looks like our home, and it looks good and I'm happy for women's football in this part of England that we have our platform like this.
