MIKIE TALLON ensured the Chris Eubank Jr v Conor Benn undercard got off to an explosive start as he delivered on his pre-fight promise.
The unbeaten Tallon was returning to the ring for the first time since he beat Christian Robles in Las Vegas back in September. And ahead of his fight against Fezan Shahid at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the 20-year-old vowed to deliver a statement performance.
And that is exactly what the Joe Gallagher-trained fighter did as he knocked out Shahid in the fifth round of this flyweight contest scheduled for six rounds.
