No decision on future for Smith before he's fit

LIAM SMITH will make a decision on his future once he is back in fighting shape.

- By CONNOR O'NEILL

Smith was dropped and beaten by Aaron McKenna as he made his long-awaited return to the ring back in April last year.

The 37-year-old was fighting for the first time since he was stopped by Chris Eubank Jr at the AO Arena in Manchester in September 2023.

Smith suffered a 10th-round stoppage defeat to a vastly improved Eubank Jr in their rematch, having knocked out his British rival in emphatic fashion eight months earlier.
