MAN CAUSED COMMUTER CHAOS AS HE WALKED A MILE ON ELECTRIFIED TRACKS
A MAN who walked for a mile along railway tracks, causing train cancellations and delays to hundreds of passengers, has been jailed.
A court hear that on August 18, British Transport Police received reports that a person was on the tracks at Southport railway station. Power to the electrified line was switched off as officers searched for the culprit.
