CLAIRE Sweeney has shared some teasers ahead of the eagerly-awaited Emmerdale and Coronation Street crossover episode.

The soap actress says she is “honoured” to star in the special episode, which she described as “epic”. Earlier this year, soap bosses confirmed an exciting hour-long broadcast when the worlds of both soaps will collide.

The episode, which has been billed as “Corriedale”, will air on Monday, January 5 at 8pm, and will mark a piece of soap history when the worlds of the cobbles and the fictional Yorkshire village will intertwine.
