SILENT Witness star Emilia Fox gets tangled up in a real-life crime case, joining a criminologist and detective to investigate a famous unsolved murder.
The gruesome details are laid out immediately as the episode gets straight down to business with raking over the evidence.
Criminologist David Wilson explains that at around 10pm on August 25, 1991, mum-of-two Vera Anderson, from Widnes, received a mysterious phone call that prompted her to leave her home in a hurry.
