CROSBY GETTING ROVERS BACK TO FULL STRENGTH

TRANMERE boss Andy Crosby believes his side's performance against Cheltenham Town will be boosted by the return of several first-team players from the treatment table.

Rovers have been dogged by injuries for much of the season, with the manager unable to field a full 18-man squad since September.

However, Crosby reckons the team’s standards are set to improve now that most of the group are available for selection.

He said: “We've finally had some positive news in that area, and the squad is looking better than it has been.

“Our numbers were boosted last week with Joe (Ironside), Kristian (Dennis) and Jason (Lowe) coming back. They got game time on Tuesday and have come through unscathed which is pleasing.
