'Devastation' as staff laid off at depot

THERE is “devastation” among staff members who have been told just weeks before Christmas that the Merseyside delivery depot where they work is set to be shut down.

DX is a major delivery firm that transports packages and items for businesses in the UK and Ireland.
The company currently has a freight facility based in Redfern Street in Bootle.
