Blues CAN go fourth & prosper

KEVIN Kilbane, a key part of the Everton squad David Moyes led to the Champions League, believes his old boss will be targeting the same goal.
The former Blues player, who helped the club finish fourth 20 years ago, believes Moyes' ambition is to repeat that success in his second stint.
And he thinks it is possible for Everton to mount that challenge given the success of other unfancied sides in recent years - though doing so may take time.
Kilbane, who made more than 100 appearances for Everton, said:
"Knowing David Moyes, he will be targeting top four... There's nothing within me that suggests he can't do it."Look what Newcastle have done, look what Nottingham Forest have done this season in seriously pushing for Champions League. Look what Aston Villa have done in the last few seasons. Look what Leicester City did going back."So there's nothing to suggest to me that Everton can’t be a Champions League team, but realistically, it might take longer than probably David Moyes would want because of the position that they're in and maybe the squad turnover that's going to come about in the next year or two.
"So there's nothing to suggest to me that Everton can’t be a Champions League team, but realistically, it might take longer than probably David Moyes would want because of the position that they're in and maybe the squad turnover that's going to come about in the next year or two.
