BARTON GUILTY OF ATTACKING WIFE

JOEY Barton was yesterday found guilty of assaulting his wife by kicking her in the head at their family home.

The ex-footballer grabbed Georgia Barton and pushed her to the ground before kicking her in the head.
The incident happened at the family home in southwest London in June 2021. Barton, 42, was convicted yesterday at Westminster Magistrates' Court. They had each been drinking alcohol with two other couples while their children slept upstairs, before having a drunken row, Westminster Magistrates' Court previously heard.
