Woman had to be freed from vehicle after crash

A DRINK-driver was rescued from her car by passersby after crashing into a lamppost and then rolling the vehicle into a field.

Holly Riley was over the limit when she lost control of her Ford Fiesta in Sheepy Magna.

At about 2.30am on September 6, a man was being driven home along Main Road by an Uber driver when they came across the toppled lamppost, blocking most of the road.

As the Uber driver negotiated his way around the obstacle, his passenger spotted the Fiesta on its side and asked the driver to stop.
