A MAN suffered cuts to his face after being punched and kicked during an attempted robbery.
Officers said the man was “extremely lucky” not to have been more seriously injured in the incident.
The attempted robbery is reported to have happened in Granby Street, Leicester, at about 9.30pm on March 23, when the victim walked past a group of males.
One of the group attempted to trip the man before his arms were grabbed in an unsuccessful attempt to steal his watch, according to police.
