Rodgers gets first manager's job outside UK

BRENDAN Rodgers has been appointed manager of Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah in his first coaching job outside the UK.

The 52-year-old former Liverpool and Leicester City boss resigned as Celtic manager in October to bring to an end his second spell in charge at Parkhead.
Al-Qadsiah, whose squad is largely made up of local players, sit in fifth place in the Saudi league and parted company with previous boss Michel on Sunday.
