Progress but more to do for women in construction
Leicester Mercury
|February 28, 2026
BUILDING materials supplier Holcim UK says a survey shows growing momentum behind industry change to include more women.
-
A total of 216 women across operational, frontline and support roles shared their experiences of working for the Coalville business.
It found inclusive culture and supportive colleagues were recognised strengths.

Holcim UK, formerly Aggreate Industries, said the findings highlight clear opportunities for employers to unlock untapped leadership potential.
