Police warning as multiple drivers ignore road closure

DRIVERS have been warned they are creating dangerous situations by ignoring a road closure.

Police said some motorists have been seen trying to “squeeze past” temporary road closure signs in Church Lane and Thurlaston Lane, Earl Shilton, pictured right.
The warning was issued by police in Hinckley after reports of a number of drivers ignoring the closure.
Police were called out to the area earlier this week in response to complaints.
