Major road to close for festivities

ENTERTAINING CHRISTMAS CAPERS AND SWITCH-ON
A MAJOR road will close to make way for an annual festive event next month.
Christmas Capers will see Blaby Road in South Wigston lined with various family-friendly activities, while the main event will be the Christmas lights switch-on.
Around 60 festive craft and gift stalls will be set up outside and at indoor locations including Elliot Hall in Albion Street, Menphys in Bassett Street, and the Methodist Church, in Blaby Road. Hot food stalls will also be in attendance.
