LEICESTER HOPE TO CLINCH PLACE IN THE FINAL ON HOME TRACK
LEICESTER Lions staged a late comeback against Sheffield Tigers in the first leg of their Premiership playoff semifinal to boost their chances of reaching the final
Sheffield will be hugely disappointed after a 46-43 home victory which leaves the semifinal in the balance ahead of the second leg in Leicester on Monday night.
Tigers were the best team in the early stages and seemed to be heading for a sizeable lead, but Leicester stormed back into contention with a strong finish to keep the semifinal alive.
