Help to reduce flooding risks

DROP-IN sessions are taking place next month to offer insights into work planned or has taken place to prepare for possible flooding - and how residents can also mitigate the risks.

Open to residents and businesses, the sessions in Sileby and Coalville will give people a chance to speak directly with key agencies — including the Environment Agency, Severn Trent and Leicestershire County Council, which will be attending in its roles as lead local flood authority (LLFA) and local highway authority (LHA).

They will also offer advice on how to be prepared against flooding.
