Gang who ran heroin and crack cocaine line in city are behind bars

A GANG which ran a crack cocaine and heroin drug line in Leicester are now behind bars.

The drug operation, known as the “Croc line”, operated in the Beaumont Leys area and used three different mobile phone numbers.

The gang used these to send out bulk text messages advertising the sale of drugs.

One of the members, 50-year-old Kevin Edens, was seen dealing drugs on the street in January.

Leicestershire Police officers said they also witnessed another member of the group, Connor Kieley, 29, topping up one of the phones used to send text messages.

Following further inquiries, officers identified that 30-year-old Oliver Roberts, 54-year-old Neville Sutton and 53-year-old Callum Johnson were also linked to the “Croc line” and were involved in supplying drugs.
