Flats plan altered due to post-Grenfell rules

DEVELOPER WANTS ONE STOREY LESS TO REDUCE REGULATIONS
SAFETY regulations brought in following the Grenfell Tower disaster have led to a planning application for flats being scaled back.
Kamao Developers Ltd applied to Leicester City Council to amend a previously approved plan for Lee Circle.
The scheme, approved in September 2022, would have seen industrial buildings demolished to make way for a seven-storey building with 92 flats.
