Education centre opens at heritage railway line

SITE WILL HOST APPRENTICES AND SCHOOL PROGRAMMES
AN EDUCATION centre has been opened at Great Central Railway.
The Robinson Centre will be used to educate apprentices at the heritage railway and host programmes with schools.
The project was backed by Loughborough Town Deal with £280,000 of the £16.9 million government allocation.
Martin Traynor, chairman of Loughborough Town Deal, said: “The Great Central Railway is a historic site in the heart of Loughborough and a key part of the town’s tourism economy.
