SCULPTURES TO BE AUCTIONED OFF TO RAISE FUNDS FOR LOROS

A HERD of colourful elephant sculptures situated around Leicester city centre will be auctioned off soon to raise money for Loros.

The artworks will gather one final time in an upcoming event before being sold.

The Stomp Round Leicester art trail has been in place for nearly 10 weeks and all 120 sculptures will gather for the final time at the Elephants’ Big Day Out.

The event will be taking place in the hospice grounds, in Groby Road, next to Glenfield Hospital.

Organisers said there will be children’s activities, craft stalls and food and drink available on the day.
