ROADWORKS planned for a Leicestershire town have been cancelled indefinitely.

Castle Donington Parish Council said it was told by Leicestershire County Council that the “promised” works have not been undertaken, and they will not be undertaken in the future.
The county council recently completed remedial work to traffic calming measures in Bondgate, Castle Donington, as planned.
These works are to address construction defects, damage, or hazards to ensure a location is safe, functional, and meets contract or regulatory standards.
EXTRA WORK: Speed tables were planned for Park Lane
