A WOMAN from Leicester has made history by becoming the first openly gay Miss England.
Miss Leicestershire Grace Richardson, 20, said she is “immensely proud” of her significant win, which marks a historic and inspirational moment for the competition.
She was crowned at the Grand Station Wolverhampton last week after a series of qualifying competitions.
A competition spokesman said: “After winning Miss Leicestershire 2024 and reentering this year, winning Miss East Midlands 2025, Grace continued to shine throughout the national stages.
